It's Your

Seroversary

Serodates are generally viewed as traumatic or shocking times. The seroversary, or anniversary date of a positive HIV announcement often harkens back to the confusion, fear and disheartening emotions Black women living with HIV or AIDS frequently associate with their serodate. For many women,

an HIV diagnosis blindsides them.

Designed to reduce isolation and stigma, It's Your Seroversary brings Black women together with a new vision for serodates. The goal is to redefine these dates as a celebration of life, and a renewed belief that we are not alone. The most exciting feature of It's Your Seroversary is the SERObration Box, a collection of happy mail designed to support a positive mindset and celebrate the milestone of living another year while positive.

A tool to shift thinking around serodates, the SERObration Box honors Black women living with HIV or AIDS commitment to their health and wellness. The box fosters connection and confirmation that life is valuable, and so are the women celebrating.
